P2P Project

Introduction:

P2P Project (Play 2 Prosper) is a passion project that supports vulernable people around the world through blockchain-based 'play-to-earn' applications. After spending many hours researching and interacting with blockchain technology, it became evident that there are tools out there that have the power to change lives. However, there is an unfortunate barrier to entry for most of these people as sizeable investments must be made at the start. For this reason, the P2P Project aims to break down that barrier and provide people with access to these tools.

Axie Infinity Scholarship Program:

Our first action will be to invest in a set of Axie Infinity characters (Axies) and provide these people with a scholarship. This scholarship will allow them to play the game and collect in-game tokens which will be sold on the secondary market for their native currency and transfered to them. This can be life-changing for people in vulnerable parts of the world as the earnings recieved from these scholarships can outweigh their traditional income. For example, someone living in the Philipenes who has been devastated by the pandemic is now able to support themselves through a US-Dollar-denominated market.

How does this work?

P2P purchases a set of Axies and retain ownership through our wallet. We then link these Axies to an Axie Infinity account that enables a scholarship recipient to login via an email and password. From here, the scholar is able to play the game and earn SLP tokens which accumulate in our wallet. These tokens are then sold on the secondary market and transfered to the scholar. 60% of the earnings will go to the scholar and the remainder will be placed in a yield aggregator and eventually be used to fund additional scholarships.
